Daily Lesson In URDU By Hazrat Maulana Yunus Palanpuri (D.B)
Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh" (May the peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be with you).
Maulana in his todays lessons advice us STRICKLY to not get involved in backbiting, as the number of good deeds of our are very much LESS compare to what we will earn (bad deeds) doing backbiting. if a person comes to you telling other mistake(backbiting) either ignore him saying you are busy or tell him you have very little good deeds that you do not want to lose .
Maulana mentions us a hadith about backbiting and its result
Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "During the Mi'raj (the Night of Ascension), I saw a group of people who were scratching their chests and faces with their copper nails. I asked, 'Who are these people, O Jibril?' Jibril replied: 'These are the people who ate flesh of others (by backbiting) and trampled people's honour."'
