Daily Lesson In URDU By Hazrat Maulana Yunus Palanpuri (D.B)
Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh" (May the peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be with you).
Maulana in his todays lesson tell us the excellence of La Hawla Wa La Quwwata Illa Billah and advice us to be frequent in reading it.
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) said:
Safwan bin Sulaim (May Allah be pleased with him) said:“No angel has risen from the earth until he said: ‘There is no might or power except with Allah (La Hawla Wa La Quwwata Illa Billah).’”Reference : Jami` at-Tirmidhi
It was narrated that Abu Musa (May Allah be pleased with him)said:
"The Prophet (ﷺ) heard me saying: 'La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah (there is no power and no strength except with Allah).' He said: 'O 'Abdullah bin Qais! Shall I not tell you of a word which is one of the treasures of Paradise?' I said: 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah.' He said: 'Say: La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah (There is no power and no strength except with Allah).'"Reference : Sunan Ibn Majah
It was narrated that Hazim bin Harmalah (May Allah be pleased with him)said:
"I passed by the Prophet (ﷺ) and he said to me: 'O Hazim, say often: "La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah (there is no power and no strength except with Allah)," for it is one of the treasures of Paradise.'"Reference : Sunan Ibn Majah
Abdullah bin Amr (May Allah be pleased with him)narrated that :
the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “there is not anyone upon the earth who says: ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest, and there is no might nor power except by Allah, (La Ilaha Illallah, Wa Allahu Akbar, Wa La Hawla Wa La Quwwata Illa Billah) except that his sins shall be pardoned, even if they were like the foam of the sea.”

Abu Musa (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to me, "Shall I not guide you to a treasure from the treasures of Jannah?" I said: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah!" Thereupon he (ﷺ) said, "(Recite) 'La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah' (There is no change of a condition nor power except by Allah)."
