(2014-03-07 KA SABAQ) Hadith Qudsi: "O Son of Adam, As Long As You Call Me..."

Daily Lesson In URDU By Hazrat Maulana Yunus Palanpuri (D.B)

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh"  (May the peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be with you).

Maulana in his todays lessons narrates us hadith on seeking forgivess.

Anas bin Malik(May Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
“Allah, Blessed is He and Most High, said: ‘O son of Adam! Verily as long as you called upon Me and hoped in Me, I forgave you, despite whatever may have occurred from you, and I did not mind. O son of Adam! Were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky, then you sought forgiveness from Me, I would forgive you, and I would not mind. So son of Adam! If you came to me with sins nearly as great as the earth, and then you met Me not associating anything with Me, I would come to you with forgiveness nearly as great as it.’”
Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) said:
I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying, "Allah, the Exalted, has said: 'O son of Adam! I shall go on forgiving you so long as you pray to Me and aspire for My forgiveness whatever may be your sins. O son of Adam! I do not care even if your sins should pile up to the sky and should you beg pardon of Me, I would forgive you. O son of Adam! If you come to Me with an earthful of sins and meet Me, not associating anything with Me in worship, I will certainly grant you as much pardon as will fill the earth."'

Maulana also advice's us to do excessive istighfar and taubah (seeking forgiveness and repenting) ,  teaches a supplication for forgiveness and narrates as hadith related to forgiveness.
Supplication # Astaghfir ullah-alladhi la ilaha illa Huwal-Haiyul-Qayyumu, wa atubu ilaihi adada khalqihi wa rida nafsihi wa zinata 'arshihi wa midada Kalamatihi
(I seek the forgiveness of Allah, there is no true god except Allah, the Ever-Living, the Self- Subsisting, and I turn to Him in repentance according to the number of His creation , as much as pleases Him , the weight of His throne and the number of His words )

(Listen to the correct pronunciation and explanation of the Supplication in the audio ref given below)
Hadith # Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Allah, the Exalted, will continue to stretch out His Hand in the night so that the sinners of the day may repent, and continue to stretch His Hand in the daytime so that the sinners of the night may repent, until the sun rises from the west". [Source : Muslim].

Note : This sinner has a poor command on English language & is not able to exactly write (express) Maulana's Talk. Its just a small effort for my Bro and Sis who are not familiar with Urdu language to give them a summarize details about the lesson and get benefits from Maulana Lessons.
Ya Allah(Subānahu wa ta'āla)! ... Forgive me for mistakes & sins I made.”.
