(2014-05-26 KA SABAQ) The Prophets Advice to Mu'adh (bin Jabal)

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh"  (May the peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be with you).

Maulana in his today's lesson tell us a supplication taught by Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) to Mu'adh (bin Jabal) (May Allah be pleased with him) with the advice , the hadith is as follows 

Mu'adh (bin Jabal) (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:

Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) held my hand and said, "O Mu'adh, By Allah, I love you and advise you not to miss supplicating after every Salat (prayer) saying: 'Allahumma a'inni 'ala dhikrika wa shukrika, wa husni 'ibadatika,' (O Allah, help me remember You, expressing gratitude to You and worship You in the best manner)".

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh"  (May the peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be with you).

Maulana in his today's lesson tell us the importance of being punctual about Salaah ,Our Beloved Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ordered his followers to safeguard and be punctual with their Salaah. Salaah is the best among all acts of worship, It is befitting that one should offer Salaah punctually. A person who considers prayers to be something ordinary and unimportant is just like one who does not offer Salaah at all.  The beloved Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) has said that a person who does not attach any importance to prayers and considers it to be something insignificant deserves chastisement in the hereafter.one should also perform such acts which increase the reward like wearing clean clothes, combing the hair, brushing the teeth and using perfume. 

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) has also said " For the one who is regular in his prayer , the prayer will become a light , a guide and the cause of his salvation on the day of resurrection. Wheras the one who is not regular in his prayers, will not have any light, guide or salvation and on the day of resurrection , he will along with qaroon, firon, hamman, ubai bin khalaf " i.e with the major infidels.

Maulana in his today's lesson tell us according to the Hadith anyone who seeks Allah's forgiveness for all the believers 27 or 25 times, he will be included amongst the Mustajaabud-Da'waat [People whose Duas are assuredly accepted] through whom Allah grants sustenance to the people of the world.

The Istighfaar is as follows:

English Transcript : Allahummaghfirli walil mu'minina wal mu'minat wal muslimina wal muslimat
English Translation : O Allah! Forgive me and all the male and female Believers and Muslims.

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh"  (May the peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be with you).

Maulana in his today's lesson tell us the excellence of the remembrance of Allah as this are the virtues which will survive and will be rewarded, while the world and all that it has will perish will reference to his talk he mention us the below hadith 

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "The uttering of the words: "Subhan-Allah (Allah is free from imperfection), Al-hamdu lillah (all praise is due to Allah), La ilaha illallah (there is no true god except Allah) and Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest)' is dearer to me than anything over which the sun rises."

The Hadith highlights the fact that the supplication which mention the Praise and Glory of Allah, His Majesty and Oneness are liked by the Prophet (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) more than anything in the world, because this is one of the virtues which will survive and will be rewarded, while the world and all that it has will perish.

Maulana further continues saying Dhikr of Allah is the most excellent act of Allah's servants, Every Muslim should make it a practice to repeat them frequently all through the day.

Maulana in his today's lesson tell us about the virtue of Subhan Allahil-Azim, Wa Bihamdih 

Jabir (MayAllah be pleased with him narrated that:

The Prophet said: “Whoever says: ‘Glory is to Allah, the Magnificent, and with His Praise (Subhan Allahil-Azim, Wa Bihamdih)’ a date-palm tree is planted for him in Paradise.”

Source : Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3465.

Dhikr of Allah is the most excellent act of Allah's servants , Say Subhan Allahil-Azim, Wa Bihamdih all through your day. It’s as simple as that! 

So Let others too Plant A Date palm tree in Paradise by Sharing!!

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh"  (May the peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be with you).

Allah  (subhana wa ta’ala)  is more delighted with the repentance of His slave, Maulana in his today's lesson advice us to do lots of Istighfar ( Dua for Forgivess) and in according to that he quote us the below Hadith :

Anas bin Malik Al-Ansari (MayAllah be pleased with him) the servant of the Messenger of Allah narrated:

Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Verily, Allah is more delighted with the repentance of His slave than a person who lost his camel in a desert land and then finds it (unexpectedly)".

[Source : Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

In another version of Muslim, he said: "Verily, Allah is more pleased with the repentance of His slave than a person who has his camel in a waterless desert carrying his provision of food and drink and it is lost. He, having lost all hopes (to get that back), lies down in shade and is disappointed about his camel; when all of a sudden he finds that camel standing before him. He takes hold of its reins and then out of boundless joy blurts out: 'O Allah, You are my slave and I am Your Rubb'.He commits this mistake out of extreme joy".

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh"  (May the peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be with you).

Maulana in his today's lessons tell us the Value of time we have now with us and related to it Maulana quote us the mention below hadith.

Mu`adh ibn Jabal  (may Allah be pleased with him)  said that the Prophet  (ﷺ) also said: "The People of Paradise will not regret except one thing alone: the hour that passed them by and in which they made no remembrance of Allah." 
Narrated by Bayhaqi in Shu`ab al-iman (1:392 #512-513) and by Tabarani

Dhikr is, therefore, something of tremendous importance. We should always try to engage ourselves with  remembrance of Allah (subhana wa ta’ala)  while we are traveling, cooking , in our work and so on  . It is mentioned in books about our elders how they engage themselves in remembrance of Allah(subhana wa ta’ala)  while doing work through the recitation of Quran Kareem or by Supplication to Allah(subhana wa ta’ala) .

We should not miss this opportunity and safeguard our good deeds.
