(2014-07-02 KA SABAQ) Characteristic honours for Muslims in Ramadhan .

Daily Lesson In URDU By Maulana Yunus Palanpuri (D.B).

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh" (May the peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be with you).

We are grateful to Allah(Subānahu wa ta'āla) for giving us the opportunity to enjoy another blessed month of Ramadan. It is indeed, the month of ibadah, divine bounty and blessing in which the reward of good deeds are multiplied greatly.

Abu Hurairah (may Allaah be pleased with him) reported that the Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), said: "My Ummah is given five privileges in the month of Ramadan that no Ummah was given before

  1. The smell coming from the mouth of the one fasting is more pleasant to Allah  (Subānahu wa ta'āla)  than the scent of musk.
  2. The fish in the sea seek forgiveness for those fasting until they break their fast.
  3. Allah (Subānahu wa ta'āla)  decorates His Jannah (Paradise) every day and then says,“The time is near when My pious servants shall cast aside the great trials and come to me.”
  4. When Ramadan begins, the gates of Paradise (Jannah) are opened, the gates of Hell are closed, and the devils are chained.
  5. On the last night of Ramadan the fasting Muslims are forgiven. The companions asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ): Is it the night of Lailatul-Qadr'? Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: " No. But the laborer is usually paid upon finishing his task."

Previous year some of those present with us are now in grave , they seek for a minute opportunity , a chance for repentance; (if they repents, Allah will accept the repentance).

It can be well comprehended from the above that during this month of Ramadan, Almighty Allah makes it easy for us to acquire His blessings, mercy and forgiveness. There can be no better time to attain this than this blessed month. All that is required on our part is to create in our hearts the desire, ambition, devotion, zeal, eagerness and that we exert increased efforts to acquire the pleasure of Almighty Allah.
While one should engage to the maximum in good deeds, Thus together with the maximum amount of righteous actions one must totally refrain from all sins. We should ensure that no act of disobedience is committed. This abstinence in itself is worship.

Note : This sinner has a poor command on English language & is not able to exactly write (express) Maulana's Talk. Its just a small effort for my Bro and Sis who are not familiar with Urdu language to give them a summarize details about the lesson and get benefits from Maulana Lessons.

I ask forgiveness from Allah (Subānahu wa ta'āla) for my wrong doings.
