(2014-05-06 KA SABAQ) Isa ibn Maryam (Jesus) [ Peace be upon him]

Daily Lesson In URDU By Hazrat Maulana Yunus Palanpuri (D.B)

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh"  (May the peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be with you).

Maulana in his today's lessons talks about  Isa ibn Maryam (Jesus) [ Peace be upon him], the references for the talk is given below 

• The Nobel Quran Confirms Isa ibn Maryam [ Peace be upon him] was born miraculously by the command of Allah.

• Abu Hurayra reported that he heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say, "No human child has ever spoken in the cradle except for 'Isa ibn Maryam , may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and the companion of Jurayj." Abu Hurayra asked, "Prophet of Allah, who was the companion of Jurayj?" The Prophet replied, "Jurayj was a monk who lived in a hermitage. There was a cowherd who used to come to the foot of his hermitage and a woman from the village used to come to the cowherd. [Source Reference : Al-Adab Al-Mufrad]

• Surah (3) Al-Imran (The Family of Imran) Surah 3:Verse 49 and [will make him] an apostle unto the children of Israel .” "I HAVE COME unto you with a message from your Sustainer. I shall create for you out of clay, as it were, the shape of [your] destiny, and then breathe into it, so that it might become [your] destiny by God's leave; and I shall heal the blind and the leper, and bring the dead back to life by God's leave;  and I shall let you know what you may eat and what you should store up in your houses. Behold, in all this there is indeed a message for you, if you are [truly] believers.

• Haafiz Ibn Katheer has compiled in his Tafseer ten big pages full with these Ahaadith which state and describe Hadhrat Isaa's  [ Peace be upon him] bodily ascension while he was alive, his presence in the Heaven in his physical state, i.e. with his physical body, and his appearance on ea rth in close proximity to Qiyaamah. It has been explicitly mentioned that these issues are Ijmaaee, Qat'i and Ittifaaqi in which there exists absolutely no difference of opinion.

• An-Nawwas bin Sam`an (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:One morning the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) made a mention of Dajjal,........................ Allah will send `Isa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary) who will descend at the white minaret in the eastern side of Damascus, wearing two garments lightly dyed and placing his hands on the wings of two angels. When he will lower his head, there would fall drops of water from his head, and when he will raise it up, drops like pearls would scatter from it. Every disbeliever who will find his (i.e., `Isa's) smell will die and his smell will reach as far as he will be able to see. He will then search for Dajjal until he will catch hold of him at the gate of Ludd (village near Jerusalem), and will kill him. [Source Reference :Riyad as-Salihin]
